Chris Henschke
Dr Chris Henschke is a media artist, designer and transdisciplinary researcher working across sound, moving image, spatial installation and experimental interface design. His practice explores how scientific data, instruments and concepts can be translated into embodied sensory experience. Through long-running collaborations with CERN physicists, he has developed audiovisual systems that transform Large Hadron Collider data into spatialised sound and image, making otherwise imperceptible quantum phenomena perceptually accessible. His work investigates the relational structures connecting physics, technology, perception and culture.
