Carlo Elia Praderio

Carlo Elia Praderio (*1993) is an Italian composer born in Varese. Inspired by geomorphology and the performing arts, he conceives sound as a body that traverses space and time. He completed his studies at the Paris Conservatory. In 2021 he’s been awarded with the "Prix the composition de la Fondation Salabert". His music has been commissioned and programmed at festivals and venues such as Philharmonie de Paris, Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik, Mozarteum Salzburg, Festival de Royaumont, Deutscher Musikrat, Festival Transart as well as Sound of Wonder. He’s been collaborating with ensembles such as Schallfeld, Multilatérale, Trio Abstrakt, Airborne Extended, Suono Giallo, mdi, Divertimento, InterContemporain and IEMA.
