Blixa Bargeld

The allrounder Blixa Bargeld (*1959, West Berlin) is first of all known as the singer and guitarist of Einstürzende Neubauten and as a founding member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Since the 1980s he has expanded his oeuvre as an artist in numerous collaborations, as well as repeated solo events. He appears in changing roles and functions in films, radio plays and audio books, theatre productions, performances and installations and yet hasn’t stopped being punk. He is a singer, narrator, actor, director, author and experimenter.
