After studying violin and composition and working as a free-lance violinist, arranger and composer for several years, Anselm Schaufler (*1970, Vienna) began teaching violin, music theory and arranging at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory in Graz. He was granted a scholarship at the International Darmstadt Summer Courses in 1990 and 1996. He was awarded the Music Promotion Prize by the city of Graz in 1996 and the Promotion Prize by the Austrian Republic in 1999. He won several prizes in music competitions. His works have been published by Helbling.
