Anna Maly (b. 1986 in an alpine town in Vorarlberg) is a sound composer and researcher. As an electrical engineering sound engineer (completed in 2014), she has been involved in research in the field of acoustic signal processing ever since. For several years she has devoted herself to electroacoustic music at the KUG, where she studies computer music and sound art with Gerhard Eckel and Marko Ciciliani. In an attempt to create new sounds, she uses the union of these two fields. She is currently applying methods from speech signal processing to the singing voice and has thus created an instrument to change and rebuild the singing voice in a way that the natural voice cannot.
