Anna Korsun

Anna Korsun (*1986, Donetsk/Ukraine) studied composition in Kyiv and Munich with Moritz Eggert. Her work focuses on acoustic sound sources, especially the human voice. In addition to her compositional work, she collaborates with artists from theatre, dance, film, visual arts and literature. Her music has been performed at renowned festivals for contemporary music and interpreted by ensembles such as Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, SWR Vokalensemble, Ensemble Modern, ascolta and Asko|Schönberg. She has held residencies and fellowships at Villa Massimo, Akademie Schloss Solitude, Villa Concordia, the Goethe-Institut in Canada and the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
