Abdullah Miniawy is an Egyptian expressionist, writer, singer, composer, and actor. He has collaborated with artists like Erik Truffaz and Kamilya Jubran. His work has been featured at prestigious venues such as the Louvre, the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, and the Venice Biennale. Abdullah's acting prowess was highlighted in Tlamess, which was shortlisted for the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival. As a composer, he has crafted soundtracks for various productions and exhibitions. His recent album Le Cri Du Caire won the LES VICTOIRES DU JAZZ 2023 award, and his debut album with the German band Carl Gari ranked 44th in NPR's best of 2016 charts. Miniawy's solo work, part of Shape + Selection, is known for its innovative style and blend of contemporary and classical elements. He aims to create a harmonious world where everyone feels equal.
