ORF musikprotokoll was conceived from the outset as a media festival whose most important venue is the radio. With over 20 broadcasts and 1,200 broadcast minutes, the 2026 festival is present on Ö1. Selected concerts are broadcast across Europe via the EBU network (European Broadcasting Union) — an important showcase for the music-makers.
