Dino Spiluttini

The emotional music of Dino Spiluttini. Self-doubt, despair, resignation, depression, death. In his music, Dino Spiluttini often addresses topics that are usually better hidden from the public eye. "Christmas Drones for the Sad and Lonesome", "Modular Anxiety", "All I Want is to Be a Happy Man", "No Horizon" - it is music that reflects the dark moments of life; that creates a place of retreat and provides solace.

In 2015, Dino Spiluttini's mother showed her son the two places in a church that she had reserved for his and her urn shortly beforehand. For the musician, this triggered an intense preoccupation with death, which culminated in the album "Heaven" in 2019, Spiluttini's first release on Editions Mego.

This was followed by "Death Chants", which contrasted the heaviness of life with the euphoria of rave. "What "Heaven" and "Death Chants II" have in common," writes the artist in an accompanying text, "are their inseparable links to transcendence. "Heaven" is a combination of community and institutional spirituality, "Death Chants II" is a combination of physical intensity and hedonism." In his next tracks, vocals will once again become an integral component, with which Dino Spiluttini will tie in with the band projects of his early creative phase.
