The new electroacoustic multi-channel composition Everything Tends Towards Chaos and Order, created by Aleksandra Słyż for the Ambisonics system at the Dom im Berg, is an invitation to listen with one’s entire body. Intense vibrations, heavyweight glissandi that seem to distend the structure of space and time—but also moments of rest—turn a visit to Słyż’s sound universe into a physical experience. Meanwhile, the sound researcher attempts to uncover their principles, exploring the mysterious interplay between chaos and order that seems to form the foundation of life.
