The ensemble recherche is one of the most distinguished ensembles for contemporary music. Since it was founded in 1985, it has given more than 450 first performances and thus decisively promoted the development of contemporary chamber and ensemble music. This nine-member soloist ensemble presents among others, the new composition of Rebecca Saunders.
